The New Zealand Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (NZBJJF) is proud and excited to announce our first-ever championship event in the stunning Wānaka region.

Known for its breathtaking landscapes and strong sporting spirit, Wānaka now becomes part of our national mission:

The Wānaka Winter Open marks an important step forward in expanding our BJJ community throughout the South Island — and we invite all athletes, teams, and families to be part of this milestone moment.

🏅 Award Ceremonies will take place immediately following the conclusion of each division. All podium athletes (1st, 2nd, 3rd) should proceed to the medal area for recognition and photos.
