At World Star Jiu-Jitsu Federation (WSJJF), we follow the official [IBJJF ruleset](https://ibjjf.com/books-videos) to ensure fairness, safety, and high-level competition across all divisions.

• Matches follow the IBJJF point system

• Legal submissions and grips per belt level

• Uniforms must meet IBJJF standards (fit, patch placement, hygiene)

• Belt rank determines time limit and allowed techniques

• All age groups and belts follow traditional IBJJF structure• No pulling guard without grip (penalty applies)

✅ Masters follow the same ruleset as Adults

Beginner

• White belts & first-time competitors

• ❌ No reaping or heel hooks

Intermediate

• Blue belts & newer purple belts

• ✅ Straight ankle locks only

• ❌ No reaping or heel hooks

Advanced

• Experienced purple, brown, & black belts

• ✅ Reaping, heel hooks, full leg lock game

• 🔄 Purple belts may choose Intermediate or Advanced

✅ Masters follow the same ruleset as Adults

• Gi Division: Weigh-in is done with gi on

• No-Gi Division: Weigh-in is done without gi (rashguard + shorts)

• All weigh-ins are done at the venue upon arrival

• Kids competing in the morning receive priority in line

👨‍👩‍👧 1 Free Parent Pass per registered competitor (kids division only)
