Alliance Fortaleza is led by Professor Guilherme Rocha "Caju", a black belt under Mestre Saulo Ribeiro who has been teaching Jiu-Jitsu since 1994. Born in 1975 in Rio de Janeiro, Guilherme started training at age 15 and received his purple belt from Mestre Royler Gracie at just 18 years old. He earned his black belt in 2001 from Mestre Saulo Ribeiro, making him part of the first generation of Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu black belts. Since 2017, Professor "Caju" has led Alliance in Fortaleza, representing the team with the most world titles in history. Alliance has approximately 200 affiliates worldwide and is an 11-time World Champion in men's division and 10-time World Champion in women's division. With 17 years as a black belt, Professor Caju has graduated over 30 black belts, including world champion Bruno Becco, one of the greatest exponents of Jiu-Jitsu in Ceará. The academy is located inside Crossfit Rek and features a fully air-conditioned dojo with 100m² of Olympic-grade mats. The facility offers free private parking. Alliance Fortaleza follows the Alliance methodology of teaching, with specialized level-separated classes designed to help students understand and progress through every stage of their training.
