A-F Academy Martial Arts is a family-oriented martial arts studio in Kelowna, British Columbia, focused on building a strong sense of community where members are seen as family. Founded by Justin Aujla-Fieldt, who began his martial arts journey in 2009 at age 15, the academy emphasizes sustainable class sizes to amplify individual instruction and maintain a cohesive, family-oriented atmosphere. Justin's journey with martial arts completely transformed his life, helping him overcome challenges from his upbringing, lose significant weight, build confidence, and reduce anxiety. After beginning teaching in 2012, he became a full-time instructor and competed internationally at tournaments including IBJJF World Championships and Pan-American Championships. He also competed in amateur MMA and trained Muay Thai extensively in Thailand in 2018, seeking sessions with some of the country's best trainers. The academy is led by Justin Aujla-Fieldt (Owner & Head Instructor) and Amreek Aujla-Fieldt (Instructor). Amreek began training at age 8 and has been a full-time instructor since 2021, with 7 years of part-time kids instruction experience. Amreek holds 2 provincial titles and 1 regional title at brown belt level and has competed 4 times at world championship level. The academy offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (gi and no-gi), Kickboxing, Women's Only classes, and Self Defence programs for all ages from Little Warriors (ages 3-5) through teens and adults.
