Professor Marcos Escobar, a 6th degree black belt under Master Leo Castello Branco (Carlson Gracie lineage), leads the academy alongside Professor Luiz Fernandes, a 4th degree black belt. Escobar is a 2x World Masters Champion and 2x No-Gi Worlds Champion with a professional MMA record of 2-0-0. Professor Fernandes is a former Brazilian National Wrestling Team member, 10x Brazilian National Wrestling Champion, and Pan Games Silver Medalist who trained under Master Andre Pederneiras at Nova Uniao. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, received black belt in Judo from sensei Auri Marcos Brito. Former Brazilian National Wrestling Team member specializing in Greco-Roman style.
