Everyone Jiu-Jitsu (EVR1 BJJ) has been proudly serving Cooper City and Miami Shores since 2019, dedicated to changing lives one person at a time through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, education, and coaching. The academy operates two locations with a world-class team of instructors who have competed at the highest levels internationally. The training philosophy at Everyone Jiu-Jitsu is built on the belief that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or experience level. The academy provides a safe, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members, creating an environment where individuals can achieve, develop, and succeed in their personal goals. The realistic and practical approach to teaching enables every member to achieve greatness and live their best life. Professor Marcos Escobar, a 6th degree black belt under Master Leo Castello Branco (Carlson Gracie lineage), leads the academy alongside Professor Luiz Fernandes, a 4th degree black belt. Escobar is a 2x World Masters Champion and 2x No-Gi Worlds Champion with a professional MMA record of 2-0-0. Professor Fernandes is a former Brazilian National Wrestling Team member, 10x Brazilian National Wrestling Champion, and Pan Games Silver Medalist who trained under Master Andre Pederneiras at Nova Uniao. The coaching staff also includes Instructor Nick Veloso, a dedicated blue belt 4 degrees who demonstrates exceptional leadership and technical growth.
