"Praia" means beach in Portuguese — capturing the essence of our Orange County lifestyle and our connection to the Costa Mesa community. Founded by Professor Thiago Pierre, Praia BJJ was built on a simple belief: martial arts should be for everyone. What started in 2019 as a small academy has grown into a thriving community of kids, teens, adults, and families. Our students range from 3-year-olds in our Baby Sharks program to experienced competitors training for IBJJF Worlds — and everyone in between. More than a gym, Praia is a family. We're here to help every student grow in skill, confidence, and character — on and off the mat.

North Shore Jiu-Jitsu Club

North Shore Jiu-Jitsu Club is a non-profit corporation operating on North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, formed to Benefit the Well-being of Children Through Jiu-Jitsu. OUR MISSION OF THIS PROGRAM 1) Give students the opportunity of growth with Jiu-Jitsu training. 2) Create a safe & well-balanced atmosphere of learning 3) Have a positive environment 4) Provide quality class instruction 5) Assist in attaining Gi’s for each student 6) Sponsor tournament fees for students in competition Classes are run on a donation basis. Our head instructor is Jiu-Jitsu Blackbelt, Mike Fowler. DIRECTOR’S VISION My goal of this program is to strengthen the student’s sense of self worth, courage, respect and physical health. Through the activity of Martial Arts, a student will benefit from the exercise of body and mind. The student will learn Discipline and Respect with Time, Commitment, and Training. I want to provide a place for students to participate in a class that is fun, safe, and allows their confidence to grow.

Gracie Technics Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Our academy offers specialized programs for adults, women and children in one of the most effective martial art and self defense systems in the world. We are located in Honolulu, Hawaii and welcome new and current students to train at our facility. The Intro to Jiu-Jitsu class is tailored for the beginning Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. HNL Jiu Jitsu Academy

HNL JIU JITSU ACADEMy is located in the aina haina shopping center, in beautiful aina haina. hnl jiu jitsu provides self-defense and sport jiu jitsu instruction and fitness training to children and adults six days a week. We offer group classes and private lessons. Our academy endeavors to understand and support positive, healthful lifestyles which we encourage for all of our teachers and students. Head Instructor, Kayle Quinn, is a fifth degree black belt who has trained under Grand Master Relson Gracie for over 25 years. Relson is the 2nd oldest son of Grandmaster Helio Gracie, the creator of Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Starting his training at age 2 and winning his first tournament at age 10, Relson earned the nickname "Campeo" meaning Champion. He taught for many years at the Gracie Academy in Rio De Janeiro before moving to Honolulu to share his family's art with the people of Hawaii. He established the Relson Gracie Academy in 1988 where many prominent jiu jitsu students trained under him, some of whom opened their own academies under the Gracie Association to carry on the legacy of Gracie Jiu Jitsu. In 2013 Relson was awarded the title of Grandmaster as a 9th degree red belt, the highest rank attainable in Gracie Jiu Jitsu. HNL's curriculum is grounded in the Gracie Jiu Jitsu style, but also incorporates modern, cutting-edge techniques which allows us to provide a holistic, dynamic training program to all of our students.

Aloha Roll Academy

Aloha Roll Academy is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in West Maui that was founded with a vision to bring the transformative benefits of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to the local community. The academy is part of the rich lineage that traces back to Mitsuyo Maeda, Carlos Gracie, and Helio Gracie, and was brought to Maui by Luis "Limão" Heredia. Professor Gilberto Castro, a black belt under Luis "Limão" Heredia, leads the academy with a deep commitment to empowering students through martial arts.
