Ceconi BJJ is a premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Magnolia, Texas, founded by Alexandro and Gabriela Ceconi. Born and raised in Santa Catarina, Brazil, he worked as a car salesman while training Jiu-Jitsu during lunch breaks and evenings under Rilion Gracie, the youngest son of Carlos Gracie who founded Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. In 2011, Alexandro pursued MMA fighting professionally before achieving his dream of opening Ceconi BJJ, which has become known as "The Home of World Champions." The academy's mission is to empower smaller, weaker individuals to defend themselves against larger, stronger opponents through proper technique and leverage using takedowns, ground fighting, joint-locks, and chokeholds.
