Coach Bio: Chauncey Nuusolia is the head instructor of 10th Planet North Dallas. Chauncey is a Black Belt under Curtis Hembroff, and Eddie Bravo. He started training at a 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu school in 2007. Between his in-depth knowledge of the 10th Planet system and his attention to detail, coach Chauncey worked his way up to an instructor at the 10th Planet Austin, in 2017. Alliance Dallas

Alliance Jiu Jitsu Dallas, also known as Double Five Dallas, is part of the world-renowned Alliance team, one of the most successful Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu organizations with over 300 affiliates worldwide. His lineage traces through Carlos Gracie → Helio Gracie → Carlson Gracie → Crézio de Souza → André Almeida → Rafael Barbosa/Leandro Escobar → João Gabriel Rocha.

AMBJJ - Alex Martins Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Alex Martins Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (AMBJJ) in Dallas, Texas is led by Professor Alex Martins, a 5th Degree Black Belt with over 20 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Professor Martins began his martial arts journey in 1997 at age 17, training under Junior Cardoso in Manaus, Brazil, and has since become a global reference in the BJJ community. Professor Martins is an elite competitor with an impressive competitive resume, including IBJJF Master World Champion in 2016 and Ranked #1 in the World in the IBJJF Master 2 Division during the 2017/2018 season. He was personally awarded by Professor Carlos Gracie Jr. for his outstanding competitive achievements. His competition success spans across the United States, Japan, Spain, UAE, Brazil, and Europe, with multiple gold medals at prestigious events including American Nationals, Pan Ams, and numerous IBJJF Opens. The academy's teaching philosophy extends beyond techniques, focusing on shaping lives through discipline, confidence, respect, and personal development. 80/20 Jiu-Jitsu

80/20 Jiu-Jitsu is a modern Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing academy located in Edinburg, Texas. The academy's name reflects its training philosophy: focusing on the 20% of techniques and strategies that deliver 80% of results, filtering out ineffective movements to accelerate student progress. Manny was born in California and raised between Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Manny started his jiu jitsu journey training under the late Orlando Sanchez at Gracie Barra in Pasadena, California before transferring to 10th Planet HQ in Los Angeles and becoming a Purple Belt under Master Eddie Bravo. After moving to Austin with his family in 2018, he joined and helped coach the 10th Planet Austin team. Jinho Martial Arts Academy is a premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school located in Grapevine, Texas, serving the Grapevine, Colleyville, and Mid-Cities area. Founded and led by Professor Jinho Kim and Coach Soojeong Hyon, the academy has earned a reputation as the top Jiu Jitsu school and character development center in the metroplex. She medaled at many competitions including gold at the European championships and bronze at the Korean championship, and has been teaching in the US since 2004 alongside her husband.
