The guillotine is easily one of the most powerful submissions in grappling. Luta Livre Black Belt, Alexandre “Pequeno” Nogueira reveals the foundational mechanics of this versatile submission to make it the go to option for ANY grappler at ANY level. Increase your submission rate on the mats with the guillotine from any closed guard, half guard, side control or any position, while also using it to easily accomplish guard passes and stuff takedowns.

The Guillotine The World series aims to do just that. Whether you know the guillotine already or are brand new to it, Pequeno has something to make your submission game sharper. Starting with guillotines from basic guard positions to ensure you’ve mastered all of the basic details, Pequeno will eventually have you airborn with his Flying Guillotine!

Develop a game that constantly threatens your opponents. Having a strong, precise guillotine in your back pocket comes in handy whether you’re on the top or bottom. Make your opponent’s powerless against your never-ending offense using the guillotine as your primary weapon.
