Reverse De La Riva (Spiral Guard): Wrestle Up to Knee Tap to False Reap

Reverse De La Riva (Spiral Guard): Wrestle Up to Knee Tap to False Reap

From 10th Planet Longmont

Here we enter the Reverse De La Riva Guard using the outside reach. I kick my outside leg to create momentum for the wrestle up and then attack the knee tap. If the standing player steps wide to avoid the knee tap, we fall to our shoulder throwing in the false reap and inverting underneath to catch the inside heel hook.

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
