We all carry our private choices into our professional lives. When you are a mentor or instructor, your character speaks louder than your curriculum. I am very selective about who influences the next generation because the lines between what happens behind closed doors and what happens in public have blurred completely. True mentorship goes way beyond the mat, and it requires consistent integrity, not just weekend performances.
