Training At Fredson Paixao BJJ Las Vegas 01 09 26

With the IBJJF World Master Championship just days away, I headed from the Tahiti Resort to Henderson, Las Vegas, to get some training in at Fredson Paixão BJJ.

I was looking for a relaxed but productive session, and that’s exactly what I found. The academy was full of Masters competitors, all preparing for the same goal the World Master.

I spent the session drilling techniques, training and trying something a little different with a tennis-ball game designed to take our hands out of the equation. It was a great exercise in adapting our Jiu-Jitsu and a reminder that there are many different ways to solve a problem on the mat.

At the end of the session, I sat down with Fredson for a short chat about Jiu-Jitsu, and his early days training.

A great day on the mats and another step closer to the World Master.
