Stuck inside your opponent’s hooks? Here’s how to shut down their guard and pass to mount even in a worst-case scenario.
In this short, we skip the entry and go straight into a tough position—both hooks in. Learn how to scoop, apply head pressure into the neck, and walk up to neutralize your opponent’s control. By removing the power of their hooks, you make it much harder for them to sweep or create space.
From there, transition into a clean knee cut pass, secure double underhooks, and climb your way to mount by controlling and walking up the arms. You’ll also see how to deal with common reactions like Single X attempts, using simple counters to maintain pressure and keep advancing.
This is a high-percentage, pressure-based passing sequence you can drill daily to dominate from the top.
