Grab the Tail or Steal the Bacon

This task game is a great idea for Minne Grapplers work on their standing foundation system. Cool game to keep them engaged, entertained, developing good standing wrestling skills.

Learning how to be in base and having a good takedown stance (we call ninja stance), is the most fundamental aspect of grappling creating a good offensive and defensive foundation.

It helps you develop good stability, learning how to move standing, always protecting yourself and your back, controlling mat space, developing good spatial orientation.

The idea is to develop a good stance position, knowing how to move around, improving their movement, agility, learning how to grip fight, establishing good posture, head position, distance management, and control of the match.

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
