## Bio

Raised in the Rio favelas and taken in by Carlson Gracie after a stint in juvenile detention, Allan Góes became one of the earliest Carlson representatives to plant a flag in North America. A product of the legendary Carlson Gracie academy, his only recorded loss before black came to Fernando Gurgel. He later joined the BTT split alongside Zé Mario Sperry and Murilo Bustamante. His MMA career spanned Pride, UFC, and Meca, and he famously tangled with Tank Abbott backstage at UFC 8 while cornering Joe Moreira. He also showed unexpected grace by helping former Luta Livre rivals Eugenio Tadeu and Hugo Duarte when they were stranded in Buffalo.
