## Bio

A Carlson Gracie black belt who bridged Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA camps, Daniel Wanderley rose through the ranks under Gutenberg Melo in Pernambuco, earning his black belt in February 2006 after living with Master Carlson for three months in Chicago. He worked Stephan Bonnar’s camp for the legendary Forrest Griffin fight and later became the jiu-jitsu coach at Roufusport, helping prepare Anthony Pettis for his UFC 164 armbar victory over Ben Henderson. Wanderley also served as Pettis’s grappling coach on The Ultimate Fighter 20.
