## Overview

**Name:** Diana Teixeira

## Bio

A relentless competitor forged in the Amazon, Diana Teixeira climbed from a Manaus gym that opened when she was 11 to the international circuit in Abu Dhabi. Starting alongside her brother Everton under Alexandro Almeida, she quickly sought tougher waters, linking with Carlos Holanda and eventually relocating to Rio de Janeiro to train at the Cantagalo Project with Douglas Rufinio (Trator) while working odd jobs. Promoted to black belt by Holanda in May 2022, her gritty performances at a team tournament in Abu Dhabi earned her a permanent spot training under Pablo Mantovani in the UAE from September 2022.
