## Bio

Known as “Mr Clean,” Dustin Denes came up through Marcus Silveira, who awarded him all belts including black in October 2001, but his real education happened in Rio after 1999 when he followed Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira to train under Carlson Gracie. When the Carlson team fractured, Denes kept competing and rotated between Ricardo de La Riva and Murilo Bustamante’s emerging Brazilian Top Team. A wrestler with over 300 matches before touching BJJ, he earned the nickname “King of the Triangle” for his submission finishing, both on the mats and in MMA, where he submitted multiple UFC veterans.
