Francis Blesa

Professor Francis Blesa is the founder and owner of Apostle Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Sierra Vista, Arizona, and El Apostol Jiu-Jitsu and MMA Academy in Mexico. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has over 40 years of martial arts experience. With 30+ years in security and as an International Firearms Instructor, he has trained military, police, and tactical teams across 20+ countries. His BJJ journey began in 1986 at age 10, and he has competed and taught internationally across Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Italy, Japan, China, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Throughout his career, he has trained alongside BJJ legends including Rickson Gracie, Royce Gracie, Renzo Gracie, Roger Gracie, Carlos Machado, Jean Jacques Machado, John Danaher, Fernando Tereré, Kyra Gracie, Roberto Gordo, Daniel Gracie, Braulio Estima, Leandro Lo, Felipe Pena, Buchecha, and many others.
