## Bio

Born in Bahia in 2002, Gabriel Galvao started judo after finding karate too static, then moved to jiu-jitsu at age ten under Fidel Pinheiro. Inspired by fellow Bahian Sérgio Rios, he later trained under Marcos Matos and made his mark as a blue belt by submitting every opponent at the European Championship. He joined Dream Art in São Paulo as a colored belt, then moved to Fratres in 2023. One year later, he received his black belt from teammate Meyram Maquine on the podium of the IBJJF World Championship.
