## Bio

Humberto Silveira, a black belt under Serrinha (Shiozawa gym), never chased competition but built a reputation on technical precision and an improbable comeback. Born in Minas Gerais in 1974, he started Judo at six and drifted into Jiu-Jitsu at seventeen after moving to Salvador. A slipped disc suffered during a 2005 training stint with Oswaldo Alves in Rio cost him 70% of his right-side strength, but a Swiss Ball gift from his mother sparked an unorthodox rehab that became the patented “Contato Constante” system in 2007. He later expanded the method in the United States alongside Daniel Valverde.
