Isamu Shishido

Approximately 30 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience. Started BJJ in 1997 under Enson Inoue (student of Rickson Gracie). Taught classes at PUREBRED since 2000. Trained extensively in Brazil through three long-term training camps. As a brown belt, became the first Japanese competitor to win a World Championship in the adult division. As a black belt, achieved two consecutive Asia Championship victories and placed in the top 8 at the World Championships. Retired from competition in 2011 to pursue specialized trainer education.
