Jason Chin-Leung

Jason Chin-Leung is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under World No-Gi and Pan champion Professor Omar Salvosa, of the Carlson Gracie lineage. He began training in BJJ and MMA in 2003 and started teaching in 2004. He traveled annually to Brazil beginning in 2008 to train with world champions including Fabio Gurgel, Demian Maia, Ricardo Vieira, Andre Galvao, and Rafael and Guilherme Mendes. He received his Black Belt in 2013 from Professor Omar Salvosa in a ceremony led by Mestre Marcus Soares. Jason has won 13 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze medals at various BJJ tournaments, including Absolute Champion at the Ontario Open International Jiu Jitsu Championship and gold in the Black Belt Heavyweight Division at the Ontario Provincial Championships. He is a certified IBJJF referee and licensed professional MMA corner-man, and served 21 years in the Canadian Army as an elite paratrooper.
