Chico was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and came to Miami at age 18. He is a certified personal trainer and private kickboxing coach. He received his purple belt in January 2024 under Professor Daniel 'Diesel' Fundora. He is passionate about teaching and spreading the wealth of Brazilian jiu jitsu amongst his teammates and kids.
