Professor Matteo Calamandrei began his martial arts journey in the late 1990s, pioneering combat sports training in Wrestling, Judo, Submission Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Italy. He is recognized as one of Italy's strongest black belts in his weight category and was named captain of the Italian National Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team in 2012. His achievements are the result of continuous dedication, attending training sessions and courses at schools across Europe, Brazil, and the United States. He is also a black belt in Grappling and an Olympic Wrestling coach.
