## Overview

**Name:** Nolan Stuart

**Date of Birth:** July 14, 2002 (age 24)

## Bio

A blue-chip prospect out of Brea Jiu-Jitsu under Dan Lukehart, Nolan Stuart climbed through the belt ranks with a wrestling-heavy guard game that translated immediately to the adult black belt division. Spending summers on his grandfather Plautino Braga’s farm in Minas Gerais gave him a direct line to the Brazilian vale tudo roots of the sport, while years of after-school training at Lukehart’s program sharpened his analytical approach. Stuart’s biggest competitive marker before black came as a brown belt, when he won IBJJF Pans and took silver at Worlds, then debuted in the adult black belt division at 18 by winning six matches for gold at the same tournament.
