## Overview

**Name:** Pablo Silva

**Date of Birth:** October 17, 1986 (age 39)

## Bio

A product of Gracie Barra Belo Horizonte under Marcelo “Uirapuru” Azevedo, Pablo Silva earned his black belt at 21 and cut his teeth alongside elite teammates like Samuel Braga. His most notable competitive marker came in 2009 when, after being denied entry into Spain due to diplomatic friction, he shed 7kg in just over 24 hours to enter through Portugal and win the European Championship. That victory cemented his reputation for grinding through adversity, though his broader competitive footprint remains less documented outside that singular run.
