>

## Overview

**Name:** Pedro Dias

**Nickname:** Pedrinho

**Date of Birth:** April 13, 1995 (age 31)

## Bio

A product of Rio’s Cantagalo social project pipeline, Pedro Dias emerged from the same slum-born competition mill that produced Jackson Sousa and Bruno Matias. Trained initially under Michel Buiú Pereira before moving to Zé Beleza’s youth squad, Dias eventually settled with Douglas Rufino and Sandro Vieira, following them from Checkmat into Caio Terra’s association. Douglas Rufino awarded him his black belt on July 15, 2017. His competitive peak includes a notable 2015 duel against Mário Leopoldo, a marker of the relentless Cantagalo style he carried into the black belt ranks.
