## Bio

A blue belt world medalist who later became a black belt under Ralph Gracie, Sean Roberts built his reputation as a rising talent in the Southern California scene before relocating to San Francisco as a purple belt to train under Gracie and Kurt Osiander. After earning his black belt in 2013, Roberts returned south but eventually left the Ralph Gracie banner to join Lucas Leite’s Checkmat affiliate in La Habra, a move made with Gracie’s full approval. He later opened his own academy, Sektor BJJ, in Chino, California.
