## Bio

Tadiyah Danforth’s path to black belt began with a father who dragged him to jiu-jitsu at age 7, but it took a Lucas Lepri training camp in 2018 for the sport to click — the same team camaraderie he had loved as a high school wrestler in Maryland, where he qualified for state. A product of Team Alliance’s top figures and later influenced by Nick Salles and Daniel Maira, Danforth committed fully after nearly flunking his senior year to chase Division I wrestling. His competitive rise earned him a black belt in January 2022.
