6th dan in Kodokan Judo and 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Second person in Hokkaido to achieve BJJ black belt. Won Asian Championship brown belt master division in 2006, multiple All-Japan BJJ Championships, and placed 3rd at 2025 World Jiu-Jitsu Championships master 51 black belt featherweight. Instrumental in developing Hokkaido's BJJ community since 1998.
