Washington Luis do M. de Lima

Washington Luis is a third-degree black belt Brazilian Jiu-jitsu competitor and instructor from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Born on January 26, 1989, he began training at age 10 at the Complexo do Lins social project under César "Casquinha" Guimarães and Leonardo Ligeirinho. He earned his black belt in 2011 from César Guimarães at Top Brother, before joining GF Team under Júlio César Pereira alongside training partner Patrick Gaudio. In 2014, he moved to the United States to coach in Boston with Robson Mau-Mau, and later relocated to Houston where he founded Academia Washington Luis BJJ.
