# Event #1 > Competition in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia | September 15, 2024 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/839419766117?aff=oddtdtcreator The event will start at 1 PM The event will be made up of 4 divisions of 8 competitors each, who will be looking for the champion title and will also receive a prize of $1k GI - 77kg & 88kg NO GI - 70kg & 95kg 6 Athletes from each division will be invited to participate in the event. The others 2 spots will be filled up with the two finalist of the Trials. The criteria to invite the athletes will be: - Ranking, - Amount of times have competed the AGF comps previously. The winner of each division will receive $1000 Australian dollars and the title of champion. **Standing - $29** Seats - $49 The tickets are on sale on the link on top of the page. Will be released by 48 hours prior to the tournament. Weigh-in will take place from 12pm and will finish before the first match starts or Saturday at Life BJJ Sydney (www.lifebjj.com) from 9:30am to 12pm. Video Call - The competitors could weigh in on Saturday from a video call, 9:30am to 12pm. There will be a trained professional medic on site. The medical services that we provide are for the safety of our competitors whether they need ice, get injured, or need advice on previous injuries. We try our best to always provide a warm-up mat area for our competitors during tournaments. For cases in which events reach close to or full capacity, we could be restricted from having the floor space to create a warm-up area for our competitors. Remember, NO SHOES ON THE MATS. Event #1 follows IBJJF Black Belt Adults rules for Gi and ADCC rules for No Gi.
