**Description:** We are excited to welcome you to the Kids Jiu-Jitsu League Open – 1st Edition in Pukekohe. This is an official NZBJJF Championship event (Gi & No-Gi), designed to provide a high-quality competition experience with a strong focus on safety, respect, development, and sportsmanship.

All competitors must hold a current NZBJJF membership to participate in any NZBJJF event nationwide.

NZBJJF follows IBJJF age division guidelines, where age groups are calculated based on the competitor’s age as of 31 December of the event year.

Weight categories shown in Smoothcomp are listed as net weight, with the appropriate Gi / No-Gi allowancedisplayed in brackets.

Example: 79kg (82.3kg) Gi means:

The day after registrations close is Checking Day. All competitors must confirm their entry details and check their division.

On Checking Day, competitors may:

Parents and caregivers, please ensure athletes are registered in the correct weight division.Any child who weighs in over their registered weight division will be disqualified immediately.
