The true 5-star Gran Melia de Mar hotel has been exclusively booked for the festival and will feature 5 days and nights of BJJ and yoga seminars. The festival offers a diverse schedule of seminars and workshops held both during the day and evening. One-third of these sessions center around Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), another third focus on yoga, and the remaining third encompass a range of therapies, including Wim Hof practices, health-oriented lectures, and ceremonies such as cacao rituals, ancestral medicine, and dance. Renowned teachers from across the globe lead these classes, sharing their unique concepts, techniques, and philosophies related to their respective practices or disciplines. The events take place in various on-site rooms and outdoor spaces, set against the backdrop of the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. 8th Degree Coral Belt Mauricio Gomes is a holds the rank of 8th degree White and Red belt. He is the founder of the first Gracie Barra franchise in the United Kingdom, and has been training and teaching BJJ for over 50 years. He is one of only six people promoted to black belt by Rolls Gracie, who is considered a legend in the sport. Gomes is also the father of Roger Gracie, who is widely recognized as one of the most accomplished Jiu Jitsu competitors of all time. Worlds, ADCC, Abu Dhabi World Pro and Nogi Worlds Absolute Champion Felipe Pena is recognized as one of his generation's best Jiu Jitsu competitors. A reputation built with victories in the ADCC, Copa Pódio', Brazilian Nationals, and the Abu Dhabi Pro Championship. Felipe Pena, nicknamed 'Preguica,' hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and is a world-renowned black belt champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He competes for the Gracie Barra team and has an impressive record of victories at the IBJJF and ADCC world championships, having competed numerous times against top-level opponents and emerging victorious against some of the most prominent figures in the sport. IBJJF World Champion Clark Gracie is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and member of the Gracie family. He is the grandson of Carlos Gracie, one of the founders of Gracie Jiu Jitsu and the first eldest son of Carley Gracie, the father of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in the United States. He is known for his signature omoplata finish, which earned him the Submission of the Year award from the World Jiu Jitsu Expo in 2013. Clark is considered one of the most active competitors from the Gracie lineage.
