The Manitoba Open is held twice a year to provide an organized, high quality tournament for all regional competitors to gain key competition experience and to test their skills. Our tournament has been developed to follow the same framework as many of the highest recognized international events. We welcome and invite all academies to participate in our annual tournament and help the growth and recognition of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. * THIS IS A PRE REGISTRATION TOURNAMENT ONLY * Professional Registration and Brackets services hosted by Smoothcomp Double Elimination for Kids Double Elimination for Adults! Adults 11am-5pm All adult beginner athletes must be weighed in and ready by 11am (arrive by 1030am) Doors open 845am Normal Registration Deadline: May 7th, 2017 Late-Registration Deadline (+$10): May 10th, 2017 Competitor Correction Deadline: May 11th, 2017 PRE-REGISTRATION FEES Competitors 14 years and younger – $50.00 for 1 or 2 divisions : GI, NOGI, BOTH (discount applied at payment) Competitors 15 years and older – $60.00 for 1 or 2 divisions : GI, NOGI, BOTH (discount applied at payment) Adult competitors – $70.00 for 1 or 2 divisions : GI, NOGI, BOTH (discount applied at payment) If you choose GI and NOGI, a discount will be applied before payment. It is the same price for one division or to do both. All Fees for competitors after pre-registration will be an additional $10.00. TICKET PRICES Spectator Ticket Prices at the Door – $5.00 Free entry for one (1) Parent or Guardian per young competitor (12-) Kids 5 years and under are admitted FREE WEIGH INS Competitors will weigh with the Gi on when they arrive at the venue, before their first fight. There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make weight,they will be immediately disqualified. Please make sure that you are in the correct weight division. You can not change divisions ,if you do not make your designated division. No changes will be accepted in the tournament day, no refund.
