**Description:** Welcome to Scandinavian Bjj open  Kids. A competition for kids juveniles in all belt classes. The tournament is 1 day competition arranged by Mariefred bjj and held in södertälje , Sweden.

*We might have to combine some classes if there are too few participants.**The mixing of classes will primearliy be based on the athlete´s age and weight.*

**SCHEDULE**SATURDAY 13 of Juni Start: 9.00: Kids and Juveniles

**ENTRANCE FEE**Free entrance for audience/spectators.

**COMPETITION FEE**Kids and Juveniles (Juniors): 350 skr Late fee: +100 skr (total 450skr)

**WEIGHT CLASSES**

**Mixed Classes**

We might have to combine some classes if there are too few participants. The mixing of classes will primearliy be based on the athlete´s age and weight.

All athletes, regardless of age, are to weigh in right before their first fight of the day.You weigh in with the gi/kimono/uniform on.For Kids and Juveniles we are using the weight classes defined by the Swedish Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, see the list below.

JUVENILES (16-17YR, BOYS & GIRLS)-48.5kg, -53.5kg, -58.5kg, -64kg, -69kg, -74kg, -79.3kg, -84.3kg, -89.3kg, +89.3kg

KIDS (BOYS & GIRLS)-19kg, -22kg, -25kg, -28kg, -31kg, -34kg, -37kg, -40kg, -44kg, -48kg, -52kg, -56kg, -60kg, -64kg, -68kg, -72kg, +72kg

HOW WE MERGE GROUPS FOR KIDS

We will merge/combine groups if necessary. We will do this according to described standard.

1. Wwe will try to avoid to big weight difference

2. We will combine weightclasses within the same age but combine belts

3. We will move to another weightclass but with the same belt

4. We will move to another weightclass and/or weight and age class

5. If no option above is possible we will cancel the weightclass and give a refund

**WEIGH-INS**

Before the first fight, the athlete will check his/her weight with the Gi.

All athletes should fight and weigh-in with the Gi. Only white, black and royal blue gi´s are allowed.

**RULES**

For kids and juveniles we offer double elimination, round robin or best out of three to give everyone a minimum of three fights.

There will not be any briefing of the rules at the tournament, so make sure you read up on them. International BJJ rules from International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation will apply, you can find them at

Refund with maximum 50% until 2026-06-10
