**Description:** Come and Enjoy a Taste of Paradise! This camp offers you an alternative grappling holiday like no other. Join us at our secluded venue on the north-east coast of the Isle of Wight, where you can train and unwind in equal measure. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the ancient oak woodlands and feel your stresses melt away. With private access to the beautiful Wootton Creek, you can swim right from the pontoon, or soak up the Isle of Wight sun on the beach, which is just five minutes walk away. We put great emphasis on fantastic food, so your training sessions will be well fuelled, and all dietary requirements are catered for. After a day of learning and making new friends who share your passion, there's nothing quite like winding down with a swim and a fire on the beach. Our mission is always to facilitate an unforgettable experience, and we consider your down-time as much as your training: with boat rides, water sports, beach parties, chasing sunsets around the island, and more. Jiu Jitsu Competitor & Instructor Professor Vanessa English is a BJJ black belt under Victor Estima and representative of Escapology BJJ in Cambridge.
In the colored belts she is a multiple times European champion, in both Gi and No-Gi, and is the first British-born Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor to win the IBJJF World Championships. Vanessa would later cement her status as one of the sport’s top featherweight athletes, by medaling at the 2018 World Championship and winning the 2018 European Open, both at Black Belt.
