The Atos Jiu-Jitsu Academy is led by Professors André Galvão and his wife Angelica Galvão, with its main headquarters in San Diego, CA. The Atos Academy has a history marked by being a major producer of champions, both nationally and internationally. This proves that today it is the fastest-growing academy in the scene, both in terms of athletes and simply lovers of this fascinating art. We are a team committed to technical quality and student well-being above all else. Although our team is known as a team of competitors, we know that most people primarily seek well-being, a new hobby, and in the meantime, some become competitors. Carlson Gracie Batel

Carlson Gracie Batel, also known as GF VIP Training, is a premium Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in the Batel neighborhood of Curitiba, Paraná. As part of the prestigious Carlson Gracie Team lineage, the gym represents one of the most respected traditions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with a legacy that traces back to the legendary Carlson Gracie Sr., known for producing some of the most successful competitors in BJJ history. CheckMat/Equipe 1

CheckMat Equipe 1 is the original headquarters of CheckMat, one of the world's most successful Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teams. Founded in 2008 by Master Leo Vieira alongside his brothers Ricardo Vieira and Leandro Vieira, along with Chico Mendes and Sebastian Lalli, CheckMat quickly rose to prominence as one of the most prestigious teams in the global BJJ community. The team has produced numerous world champions, including Marcus "Buchecha" Almeida, widely considered the greatest BJJ competitor of all time. DNA Jiu-Jitsu School Curitiba

DNA Jiu-Jitsu School is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Curitiba, Paraná, founded in 2015 by Professor João Raphael Vasconcellos, known as "Raphael Simpson." The academy offers comprehensive BJJ training for men, women, and children of all skill levels. Professor Simpson received his black belt in 2004 from Gustavo Muggiati (Gutty) and is a 2001 World Jiu-Jitsu Champion. After earning his black belt, he led training at Gracie Curitiba academy until 2007, then focused on preparing MMA athletes, including Pride and UFC champion Maurício "Shogun" Rua. In 2010, he moved to the United States, teaching at Gracie Barra Orlando and later in Minneapolis. He returned to Curitiba in 2013 and established DNA Jiu-Jitsu School two years later. With over 20 years of experience, Professor Simpson brings world-class instruction and a proven competition pedigree to DNA Jiu-Jitsu School. The academy emphasizes technical excellence, discipline, and personal growth through the practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, serving the Curitiba community with programs for all ages and skill levels.
