Bigfoot Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Bangkok was founded in June 2016 in the heart of Bangkok and recently moved to Sukhumvit Soi 36, just 3 minutes from BTS Thong Lo. The gym is committed to helping people progress in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, offering high-quality instruction for students of all levels, whether training for competition or just for fun.
As a proud member of the Alliance Jiu-Jitsu network, one of the most successful BJJ teams in the world with 300+ affiliates globally and 15 World Championship titles, Bigfoot BJJ Bangkok provides world-class training in a welcoming environment. The academy offers both Gi and No-Gi classes, catering to beginners through advanced practitioners with programs including Fundamentals, Intermediate, and Advanced classes.
The gym is led by Professor Lee Livingstone, a black belt promoted by Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti (head of Alliance Jiu-Jitsu) in 2011. Professor Lee brings over 30 years of martial arts experience, starting with Shotokan Karate (3rd Dan black belt), training in Muay Thai for 12+ years, and competing professionally in MMA with a 9-1-0 record (6 wins by submission). Before relocating to Bangkok, Lee owned and managed Bushido MMA in Nottingham, UK, a 450 m² training center, and coached top-level UFC, Strikeforce, Bellator, and BAMMA fighters. Professor Lee is qualified to teach BJJ, MMA, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Boxing, and Judo, and holds certifications in Olympic lifting and CrossFit Level 1 Training. The coaching team also includes Tor Arva, providing experienced instruction to build a strong BJJ community.
