**Description:** The Gauntlet Fight Academy started life as a few mats in a tiny ballet studio in West Ealing, a few nights a week, with 3 white belt students and 1 passionate coach with a dream , Neto Nunes.
Fast Forward 10 years, and a few gyms later, we are an established family run business with the biggest mat space in West London and a reputation to match. Meet our fantastic team of professional staff and coaches ranging from Pro Fighters, Ex Olympic Wrestlers, Seasoned Sensei's and National Champions, teaching 7 different martial arts disciplines every day of the week.

### Ivo Mendes - Blue

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** Ivo Mendes is a PT and S&C Coach with over 20 years experience. A GFA Blue belt, he understands how to help our members build and utilise their strength and power with expert S&C programs and Kettlebell workouts focussed on martial arts movements.


### Jay Mascall - White

### Matt Sinski - Brown

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** Coach Matt leads our Muay Thai competition squad. A true allrounder with Muay Thai and Professional MMA fights under his belt as well as a Brown Belt in BJJ he will analyse your game and give you a strategy to push you to the next level.


### Mike Ekundayo - Black

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** Mike 'Airlines' Ekundayo, is a BJJ Black Belt with years spent honing his skills in the cage, Mike has the experience and knowledge and develop your MMA game. The ultimate motivator, Mike is available for 1-2-1 teaching for all levels.


### Neto Nunes - Black

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** Neto is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt 4th degree, under Henrique Lima. Born in Brazil, Neto has been living and training BJJ in London for the past 15 years. Neto is Head Coach of the Academy and is the driving force behind our methodology and class structure. Representing Checkmat, one of the biggest and most successful teams in BJJ, he brings over 20 years competition and teaching experience to the Academy and is widely known for his passionate coaching style. Neto is a dedicated father of two and co-owns The Academy as part of a dynamic Husband and Wife Team.


### Rui Raposo - Brown

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** Coach Rui is a home grown Brown Belt under Neto Nunes. A formidable competitor, Rui is a also a talented teacher and leads our 06:30am BJJ classes. Rui is a friend to everyone on the mat, and is available for expert 1-2-1 coaching for competitors.


### Samy Frahat - White

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** Former African Heavyweight Muay Thai Champion, Samy is a huge presence on the mat and has decades of fighting experience to bring you to your best.

### Shara Saeed - White

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** Shara is bursting with natural athleticism and energy and is truly passionate about health and wellbeing. A qualified PT and Yoga Coach, if you need to transform your body and lifestyle, start with her yoga and HIIT classes.


### Stu Cole - White

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** A skilled boxer and motivational Coach, Stu's years of professional personal training experience allows him to deliver stimulating classes and high quality padwork sessions to his 1-2-1 clients.


### Wali Abdullah - White

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** One of London's top grapplers, Coach Wali is a renowned Wrestling Coach and formidable BJJ competitor. Wali leads our Wrestling program as well teaching fast paced BJJ No Gi and BJJ Kids classes.
