What Will You Learn?

Fabio Holanda might be a lot like you. He is 38, has 2 kids, not a serious dieter: he used to cut 30-40 pounds when he fought MMA. He’s the funniest guy in the room and has a heart of gold. When he rolls however, he turns into a different person.

You see Fabio has a little secret… He has a move that he has mastered that allows him (at his advanced age and as someone who isn’t exactly watching every calorie) to kill the younger guys. Fabio beats up on everyone and hangs very well with world champs. We recently watched him hang with a very famous world champion for 22 minutes and Fabio gave the guy fits. He does this all the time…

He is so good at the Kimura that UFC Champions and stars like Georges St. Pierre, Murilo Bustamante and Patrick Cote take his advice. BJJ Stars and legends like Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles and Leonardo “Cascao” Saggioro listen to him. Fabio is the world’s premier master of the Kimura.

Once you learn the Kimura (I mean really learn it) your BJJ World changes. It becomes very easy to sweep from closed guard, half guard, even escape side control. The principle is simple – two is stronger than one - and with Fabio’s setups you can almost always get there.

The Kimura is a total leverage move. Your 2 arms attack his 1 arm. If you can get there, you can finish – it is that simple..

But what if the guy puts a ton of weight on me and I can’t get up? Yeah Fabio knows about that too. He has sequences that he uses when people do the same things everyone else does. Fabio has a very easy sequence from there that assures your opponent will be tapping.
