Rear Naked Choke System | Back Takes, Escapes, Genie Choke & Thunderlock

Learn a complete rear naked choke and back-control system covering entries, control, defense, escapes, and alternative finishes.

Coach begins with defending the hooks and preventing back control before covering turtle back takes and seated back takes. The lesson breaks down double-underhook and seat-belt control, how to secure those grips, and how to defend them when someone is attacking your back.

From established back control, Coach teaches the rear naked choke and the defensive reactions that commonly stop it. The series then moves into the Genie choke, including how to use the position to reopen the rear naked choke when the opponent pulls their arms free.

The lesson finishes with the Thunderlock as an answer to the telephone-style rear naked choke defense.
