From Army combatives to the cage.

This highlight video follows SPC Brian Yamada through Army combatives competition and into MMA, showing the grappling style that carried across both.

The video opens with 3 finish clips, all leg-lock based, then moves into 2 Army combatives matches on the mats. In the first match, Brian works from standing into ground control and eventually gets the kneebar finish. In the second, he gets swept, enters the legs, and finishes from there.

From there, the video transitions into the MMA fight, including the walkout announcement, selected moments from round 1, and the round 2 finish with 1:23 left. Brian gets the win by leg lock, the announcement, the belt, and the ending celebration.
