In this video, Bayshore BJJ Professor Joe Dockery gives a basic understanding of the Collar Sleeve Guard. In just 3 minutes, you'll learn how to enter the guard, and how to deal with many of the common tactics people use to try and break down & pass it.

These techniques came from a seminar he attended with Jon Thomas in April of 2025, and this video was posted primarily for the students of Bayshore BJJ to review as part of our study of the collar sleeve guard.
