Brian Glick Reveals His Ultimate Guard Control Secret

Learn how to completely destroy your opponent's posture and dominate the open guard using this collar sleeve grip system, taught by John Danaher black belt Brian Glick.

Struggling to control bigger, stronger opponents from the bottom? The traditional sleeve and cuff grip often fails against heavier grapplers who easily strip your grips and smash your guard.

In this video, Brian Glick reveals a "high tricep" grip variation that gives you absolute push-pull leverage. This control system lets you off-balance heavier opponents, force their hands to the mat, and set up a chain of triangles, omoplatas, and sweeps. Even multi-time World Champion Bernardo Faria admits he has never seen a comprehensive system built around this specific control tie before.

If you want to stop relying on speed and start using mechanical leverage to frustrate your training partners, this is a must-watch BJJ tutorial.
