March 13, 2021

In this BJJ️🥋 video we take a look at the straight Ankle Lock! 👣🔒
We go through the finishing mechanics of two basic variations aswell as one entry with two setups into the ankle lock to get the tap.
These footlocks are IBJJF legal since this is a Gi instructional. We will go over Knee reaping and heel hooks in the NoGi series.

Keep an eye out on the other series were we show you more basic submission finishes to start tapping your opponents. 👊

If you have any questions please leave them in the comments. 🙏

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
