This is not a usual video where I show Jiu-Jitsu techniques. This is a different kind of technique and it could be very useful for all dads out there.
Recently I uploaded an Instagram reel where jokingly I use a Danaher instructional to put my baby to sleep.
People got the joke and the reel now has over 100k views on Instagram but you should not try it at home.
However, there is one technique that I actually use to calm a crying baby. It's called the hold and was created by Doctor Robert Hamilton:
As a Jiu-Jitsu guy, I’m used to watching techniques, pay attention to details and test them.
So I tried the “hold” with all my babies, perfected it over time and I can confirm that it works!
Disclaimer, you have to have the basics covered: diaper changed, nursed, good sleep, etc. Shout out to my amazing wife for doing all these work.
Great tip for all Jiu-Jitsu dads out there.
