Francis Gareau-Montsion

Francis is a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He began training in 2005 and received his black belt in 2016 from Fabio Holanda of Brazilian Top Team. In 2013, he co-founded Black Line Jiu-Jitsu with Benoit Décary-Secours, driven by a desire to share his passion and make jiu-jitsu accessible to a diverse clientele. Driven by constant curiosity about the evolution of the sport, Francis is particularly interested in modern techniques and no-gi practice (submission wrestling). His teaching emphasizes understanding fundamental principles, movement fluidity, and developing an effective personal style in both recreational practice and competition.
